Do I need to register/sign in to book a ticket with NBus?

No! NBus doesn’t require the customer to go through the registration process in order to book the ticket.

Does booking online cost more than booking in person?

No! The price of the bus ticket is same (or less in some occasions) as you would get it from the bus operator. NBus doesn’t add any extra charge for booking a ticket online.

I didn’t receive my mTicket. Can you re-send it?

You can generate your mTicket online by using the “My Ticket” menu option available on the Home page of NBus.in, by providing the ticket number generated/sent to your email at the time of booking.

Is it mandatory to Carry Printed Ticket for boarding into the bus?

It depends on the bus operator you have booked your ticket with. Some operators does accept the mTicket - the SMS that has been sent to while booking the ticket. This mTicket can be produced at the time of boarding.

For operators that do not support mTicket it is a must to take a printout of your e-ticket and produce it at the time of boarding. The e-ticket is sent to the email id provided at the time of booking. Also you can print your ticket any time from NBus.in via “My Ticket” menu option.

The mTKT column on your bus search results page helps you identify whether a particular bus operator accepts mTicket. If it shows red icon, you must bring a printout of your ticket at the time of boarding.

What payment options do I have?

You can make payment for your ticket using one of the below payment options.

  • - Credit Card
  • - Debit Card
  • - Net Banking
  • - Cash Cards/Wallets – Airtel Money, ITZ Cash, Oxigen Wallet, PayU Money

Can I buy a ticket for someone else with my credit/debit card?

Yes, as long as you provide the correct information about the traveler at the time of booking. You do not need to produce the credit card used for booking at the time of collecting the ticket or at the time of boarding the bus.

Is there any booking fee & hidden Charges?

There are no booking fee or hidden charges for booking a ticket with NBus, while we are providing bus tickets at affordable prices and great discounts.

Can I cancel my ticket online?

Yes, most of the tickets can be cancelled online. In case any of your tickets are not cancellable online, please call our customer care to get this done. The cancellation terms are all set by the operators and it differs for each operators. Please read the cancellation terms printed on your ticket for more details.

How can I cancel my bus ticket online?

You can cancel your ticket using the “Cancellation” menu available on the Home screen by providing the ticket number (sent to you via SMS/email/printed on ticket) and mobile number used for booking.

How long would it take to get the refund amount?

It takes up to 7 bank working days from the date of cancellation, to get your amount refunded back to your credit/debit card used for booking.

Would I get a full refund of my ticket cost?

Full refund is done only when there are errors from NBus end or Operator end. In other cases, when the traveler requests for cancellation, a partial refund is done. Please check the cancellation-refund terms mentioned in the ticket printout/Email.

What do I do if I miss my bus?

Our conditions state that if you miss the bus you are booked on, through no fault of the Travels, and you do not cancel your ticket before the time of departure then the ticket is no longer valid and is not eligible for a refund or amendment.

Do I get a refund if I missed the bus?

NBus provides full refund of the ticket amount if the traveler missed the bus due to NBus or bus operator’s fault. If the reason for missing the bus is something else, the traveler will not get a refund.

How to postpone/prepone journey?

You cannot modify your reservation once you made the payment. However you can Cancel the ticket and make a new reservation (cancellation charges are applicable)

Can I Cancel/Transfer my e-Ticket?

You can cancel your ticket. But you can’t transfer the ticket you booked to someone.

How does your boarding process work?

Please arrive at the boarding point 15 minutes in advance and have the ticket printout ready with you (SMS confirmation is accepted by some operators. This will be displayed on mTKT column of your search results page. But it is always preferred to have a printout of your ticket). You should also have a government issued identification card ready while boarding.
